ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is dead after being shot in Royal Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says.
Deputies say at around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, they responded to a shooting near Nottingham Road in Royal Palm Beach where they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) arrived on the scene and took the male to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Deputies believe that the shooter and the victim knew each other.
At this time there is no threat to the community, deputies say.
