Man dead following shooting outside of gas station in Riviera Beach

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man was found dead following a shooting outside a gas station in Riviera Beach.

According to the Riviera Beach Police Department, officers responded to the call at around 9:30 p.m. at the JW Food Store, located at 411 Old Dixie Highway. When police arrived they spotted a man dead from gunshot wounds.

CBS12 News reported Wednesday night a viewer saw the body of the person lying on the ground outside by the pumps.

The Riviera Beach Police Department said the murder is under investigation and is requesting assistance from anyone who may have information.

The family of the deceased victim requested Marsy's Law.
