Man allegedly uses mop to attack family members after argument

    A man is behind bars after he allegedly attacked his family members after getting into an argument with them Saturday morning.

    Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies arrested 35-year-old Shaheed Foster after family members said he used a mop as a weapon and threw mason jars and knives at some of them.

    According to the affidavit, Foster and his sister got into an argument about her children being at his home. Foster then spat at his sister and used a mop to swing at her and ended up hitting her husband.

    Another family member told deputies that Foster threw knives at him from the top pf the stairs, according to the arrest report. He also told deputies that Foster threw Mason jars at other family members

    Deputies charged Foster with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery and simple battery. Foster made his first appearance in front of a judge Sunday morning and is currently being held without bond.
