House fire displaces six people in Fort Piece, 2 hospitalized

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Firefighters responded to a house fire early Sunday morning where six people were displaced.

St. Lucie County firefighters arrived at just before 5:30 a.m. at Avenue I just west of north 37 Street.

According to firefighters, one man was transported to a hospital with minor burns and a woman was sent for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters are investigating what caused the fire.
