OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A horse pulled from an overturned trailer in a crash is doing much better.
Crews with Okeechobee County Fire Rescue responded to a crash along Highway 710 on Friday afternoon.
Fire Rescue, animal control, the sheriff's office and a local veterinarian worked together to assist in the crash that had numerous injuries — all while trying to pull a horse from the overturned trailer.

After the horse was treated by a local veterinarian, it appeared to be 'stable.' The people injured in the crash were also treated by paramedics on scene.
