Bill Weed, former athletic director for Palm Beach Gardens High School, pleaded guilty to video voyeurism charges on Wednesday.

He will be serving 18 months in jail and 96 months of sex offender probation.

Weed resigned as athletic director in May after his arrest at a district bus depot where he was assigned.

He was accused of placing a hidden camera disguised as an alarm clock inside of a teenage girl’s bedroom. Police say they discovered dozens of nude images and videos of the teen victim on the camera’s SD card. Investigators claim Weed controlled the camera with an app on his phone, but say he denied knowing about it when questioned.

Weed's probation conditions include:

  • Can’t contact victims in the case
  • He can live with adults that have electronic equipment, as long as he doesn’t use them himself
  • He can never own or possess digital devices until he qualifies
  • He will be a registered sex offender
  • Cannot work at a school
  • Cannot go on the internet
