The Coral Springs Police Department put four of its officers on administrative leave, pending an investigation into a cell phone video which reportedly shows at least one officer kicking a man in handcuffs.

The video, obtained by WSVN, shows 28-year-old Gabriel Narcisse-Beckford being kicked. The incident came after officers had to subdue him with a Taser at the intersection of Northwest 81st Avenue and West Sample Road.

Police told WSVN Narcisse-Beckford resisted arrest. He was accused of stealing a drink and candy from the 7-24 Sun Mart on West Sample Road.

A news conference by Coral Springs Police is set for 4 p.m. Thursday, WSVN reported.
