Two pit bulls are being quarantined after deputies say they bit multiple people outside of a pharmacy in Wellington.

The Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control said the dogs’ owner, Paul Papazoglou, told them his dogs escaped after he parked in front of the pharmacy on the morning of Dec. 12.

Animal Care and Control said the dogs attacked two women and a girl, biting them on their legs and hands outside of the store. A Walgreen's employee also got bitten while she tried to help the other victims get into the store for safety. Papazoglou also had bite wounds on his ankle.

According to Animal Care and Control, the employee saw Papazoglou leave with the dogs, but saw him return without them.

Animal Care and Controls met with Papazoglou outside of his home where they confiscated the pit bulls, Rhaegar and Arya,

Animal Care and Control cited Papazoglou with multiple citations related to leash laws, rabies vaccines and county tag requirements.
