Firefighters rescue dogs from house fire in Royal Palm Beach

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue saved a few dogs from a house fire in Royal Palm Beach Friday.

The fire happened at a home along Hibiscus Drive around 11:27 a.m., Fire Rescue says. First responders say they found the carport engulfed in heavy flames.

There were multiple pets inside the home and fire crews were able to get out five of the family dogs safely, they add.

One of the dogs rescued from the house died, the say.
