FAU invites public to findings on effects of algae blooms

FAU will hold a public forum to discuss findings on effects of algae blooms. (WPEC)

FAU Researchers are ready to present their findings on the harmful impacts of algae blooms along the Treasure Coast.

The public is invited to attend an open forum at FAU Habor Branch Johnson Education Center in Fort Pierce.

The forum is called , “Engaging the Public: What are the Counties Doing?”

It will provide panel presentations and discussions on the wide impacts of the algae blooms in the local waters and how it’s affecting everyday life for area residents.

Harbor Branch researchers and others will present their findings of the impacts.

The forum gets underway Friday morning at 9am and runs right thru until 1pm in the afternoon.
