Elderly man gets stolen bike replaced by police

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (CBS12) — It's a story that shows the goodwill of the men and women in blue.

A man in his eighties had his bike stolen recently from a Winn Dixie store in Cape Coral.

The officers who responded to the call learned the bike was the man's only source of transportation.

That prompted Field Training Officer Ken Cody and Officer Trainee Guang Song to head to Walmart to buy the man a new bicycle. They delivered it to the man's home, and even made sure the seat was adjusted properly.
