A man wanted for killing two people in West Palm Beach is behind bars in Cleveland.

U.S. Marshals arrested 25-year-old Raymond Diaz Friday morning on two counts of murder with a firearm.

Investigators said he executed two people while sitting in the back seat of a car in October. Marshals said Diaz shot the driver and front seat passenger in the back of the head. The car ended up crashing into the Palo Verde apartment complex off Forest Hill Boulevard.

Investigators identified the shooting victims as 30-year-old Daniel Del Valle and 22-year-old Osvaldo Gomez-Alberto.

After the murders, U.S. Marshals said Diaz fled to Cleveland to live with family members.

"Let this be a wake-up call for any fugitive that thinks he can outrun the reach of the Marshals Service. Our reach is nationwide, and we will not rest until we find our fugitive. This violent fugitive was caught within 24 hours of the warrant being issued because of a great working relationship between law enforcement in Palm Beach and Cleveland."

Diaz is awaiting extradition back to Palm Beach County.
