Update: Bodhi was found Sunday night along Congress Avenue hiding in the bushes.

His family says they hired Jamie Katz, a pet detective who uses scent dogs to find missing animals.

We're happy that Bohdi is now home safe.

After a major accident on I-95 a couple from Boynton Beach says they need help finding their one-year-old dog who escaped from the wreck.

Karee Halbe and her boyfriend say they are happy to be alive after their truck flipped over in a crash just before the 45th Street exit.

"All of the airbags deployed, and the windows blew out," said Halbe.

As the couple was hanging upside down in their car, their one-year-old chocolate lab bolted from the back of the car.

"Our dog, as the truck was moving, ended up pulling himself out the back window and he got out," said Halbe.

One-year-old Bodhi was seen by witnesses running across I-95 into the nearby bushes but hasn't been seen since.

On Sunday Halbe and her family came back to West Palm Beach to continue searching for the dog, this time they brought along Jamie Katz a pet detective in South Florida.

Kats is a licensed private investigator who uses scent dogs to help track down lost animals.

Halbe and her family hung dozens of posters around West Palm Beach, anyone with information is asked to reach out to the family at 561-271-3293.
