Body found floating in canal identified to be missing man with dementia

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A body found floating face down in a canal in Delray Beach was identified to be Brian Yoder, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says.
CBS12 News reported on Friday that Yoder was reported missing on Thursday after walking away from the Inspired Living Assisted Living Facility at around 8:15 p.m.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, he was diagnosed with dementia.
At around 7:45 a.m. on Friday units from the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue were dispatched to 14466 El Chair Ranch Road between Sunrise Point Court and Winding Brooke Way after receiving a 911 call, PBCFR says.
Upon arrival, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, spotted Yoder floating face down in a canal, the fire department says.
