A couple arrested during a drug sting outside a McDonald's in Delray Beach had an 8-year-old child in the car, police said.

Delray Beach Police arrested 26-year-old Brittany Rusk and 27-year-old Blake McQueen on charges of child neglect, as well as possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Police set up a buy-bust operation at the McDonald's on Linton Boulevard on Saturday night.

A confidential informant placed a phone call to McQueen who, according to police, is a narcotics dealer. The CI wanted to buy $200 worth of crack cocaine.

Police said McQueen showed up in a white Chevy Impala and exchanged the cash for the drugs when police arrested him.

Authorities found a white powdery substance in the car, which field tested positive for cocaine. Officers also recovered a bag of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, as well as Amphetamine and Endocet pills.

Investigators made note of the 8-year-old in the back seat of the car.

Delray Beach Police said Rusk, during the trip to jail, appeared to retrieve something from McQueen's pants.

At the jail, police did a strip search of McQueen and found a plastic bag "wedged between the defendant's butt cheeks," according to the report. The bag contained drugs which were field tested to be crack cocaine and cocaine.

McQueen faces additional charges of tampering with evidence and driving with a suspended license as a habitual offender.

Rusk and McQueen were released from jail after posting bond.
