Cold front sweeps area, temperatures plummet

Temperatures will begin to drop late Wednesday as cold fronts sweep through the area.

Another cold front passes through on Wednesday, dropping daytime highs to the mid 70s, with mid to upper 60s on Thursday.

Thursday morning we feel the chilliest air with lows dipping into the chilly 40s in all areas. Wind chill readings could drop to the upper 30s.

We gradually begin to warm back up on Friday into Sunday. By Sunday it could be back to 80 again!

Slight moisture return gives us a 20% shower chance Friday through Sunday.

Another cold front is forecast to pass through Sunday Night/Early Monday with another drop in temperatures.

Beach and Boating Forecast Wednesday: Winds: NNW 10-20 knots. Seas 2-5 feet.

Seas increasing to 4-6 feet Thursday and Friday with rough surf and a high rip current risk.
