CBS12 News Investigates: Medical crisis abroad


If you plan on traveling abroad, the last thing you want to worry about is getting sick or injured.

Experts say about 15 percent of travelers experience some sort of medical issue while overseas and depending on your destination, your health insurance may not cover the costs.

"In most cases, your medical insurance won't cover you when you're outside the United States,” said CBS News Travel Editor Peter Greenberg.
