FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WPEC) - Broward County will hold its first commission meeting since the Parkland school shooting on Feb. 14.

According to the agenda minutes, the commission will discuss whether it can regulate firearms and ammunition at the county level.

The county attorney will analyze the limitations placed on local government.

In the 1980s, Florida banned cities and counties from regulating their own gun control laws.
