A 12-year-old boy is under arrest and police are looking for two more young people in the armed carjacking of an elderly woman in South Florida.

The Broward County Sheriff's office says the crime happened last week in Lauderdale Lakes and it's all caught on camera.

Investigators shared surveillance video of the crime. According to deputies, the three carjackers followed the woman into a Walmart on N. State Road 7. As she walked out of the store, deputies said one of the young individuals pointed a gun at the woman asked for her car keys.

The sheriff's office said the three armed carjackers took off so quickly they nearly hit the woman as they sped out of the parking lot.

Authorities identified the boy as 12-year-old Shaquille Dixon. He's facing a felony carjacking charge. If you have any information about his two accomplices, call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 321-4229. You could get a cash reward up to $3,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
