Boca Helping Hands feeds the hungry for Thanksgiving

Boca Helping Hands, a community-based organization, will be helping hundreds of families this holiday season by providing dinners to those in need at three different events in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach.

The dates and times are listed below:

Sunday, Nov. 18, 8 a.m. – noon in Boca Raton:

Boca Helping Hands, located at Remillard Family Resource Center, 1500 N.W. 1st Court, Boca Raton. Families who preregistered will be able to drive through the parking lot to pick up a box with all the fixings, plus a turkey and a roasting pan.

Sunday, Nov. 18, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Boynton Beach

First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach at 301 North Seacrest Boulevard, Boynton Beach. Just like at the Remillard Family Resource Center, families who preregistered can drive through the parking lot to pick up a box with everything needed to make a turkey dinner at home, including a turkey and a roasting pan.

Thursday, Nov. 22 (Thanksgiving Day) 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Boca Glades Baptist Church at 10101 Judge Winikoff Road, Boca Raton, in the northeast corner of the parking lot.

Boca Helping Hands says the Boca Raton Resort & Club will prepare and donate pre-made Thanksgiving dinners to families that preregistered. Resort employees will be volunteering their time to prepare and distribute the meals with the help of Boca Helping Hands volunteers.
