SPRING HILL, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman from Spring Hill started her Wednesday morning just like anyone would by letting her dogs out back, but she found an unwelcome guest on her back porch.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) said deputies were called out by the homeowner, who told the 911 operator she did not know the trespassing man, and a nearby, off-duty deputy discovered 34-year-old Anthony Stravino "relaxing on the back patio" charging his phone.
This deputy immediately detained Stravino.
When other deputies arrived at the woman's house, the alleged trespasser told them he thought he was at his girlfriend's house waiting to be let in. Stravino then told deputies he actually doesn't know where he is or his girlfriend's address.

The confused man had a backpack that deputies searched and found drugs and paraphernalia.
A light-colored powdery substance in a plastic bag within the backpack tested positive for 0.6 grams of heroin. A search of Stravino's person uncovered another 0.5 grams of heroin, the HCSO news release said.
Within the lost man's backpack, deputies also found a crystal-like substance, which was confirmed to be 22.4 grams of methamphetamine.
In addition, multiple empty plastic bags, a used syringe and a scale were inside Stravino's backpack.
His charges include trafficking of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia and burglary - the trespasser using the woman's utilities to charge his phone.
Stravino is currently being held at the Hernando County Detention Center on $23,000 bond.
