FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) — A number of people were taken to the hospital from a C-130 plane that landed at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport, according to WSVN in Miami.
WSVN reports that Broward Sheriff's Fire Rescue took the injured people to Broward Health Medical Center. Airport officials say the C-130 plane transported people injured in a bus crash in the Bahamas.
A Bahamian news outlet reports that of the 32 passengers aboard a tour bus, 26 were injured. Six of the injured are in serious or critical condition and needed to be airlifted for further medical attention.
Four of the people airlifted were taken to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport.
