BRYANT'S POND, Maine (WGME) – There was a happy reunion for a dog and her family in Western Maine.
According to Albert Silver's Facebook page, the family's dog, "Sophie," went missing during Thursday's blizzard.
They tried animal control, shelters, the animal hospital, but there was no sign of the 13-year-old yellow lab.
Then on Tuesday, five days later, a relative saw Sophie's head poking out from under the snow.
She was so stuck in the snow she had to be plowed out.
Sophie was treated at a local animal hospital, she'd lost five pounds but is expected to be OK and is now home recovering.
