WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Anthony Carter has been a football star all his life.
Borna and raised in Riviera Beach, "AC" starred as a pee wee football player in the city's parks and recreation program.
He played at JFK and Suncoast, and once scored six touchdowns in a game. He went on to become the all-time leading receiver for the University of Michigan.
Carter played 13 seasons of pro football between the USFL and NFL, drafted by the Miami Dolphins but traded to the Minnesota Vikings.
The Big Ten Network included AC on the Mount Rushmore of Michigan Football in 2014.
