We honor Eugenia Millender who has her doctorates degree in nursing. She is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Director at the FAU Christine E. Lynn Health Center in Westgate. Services are provided in English, Spanish, Creole and French.

She knows the pain diabetes can cause. Her grandmother died from the disease. Her mother is suffering from it. She wants to make a difference by helping underserved communities who are in desperate need of care.

Millender served six years in the Army. She is a community leader involved with numerous charitable organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Palm Beach Black Nurses Association and T. Leroy Jefferson Medical Society.
