WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — There is a grass roots effort dedicated to delivering help and hope to foster parents in Palm Beach county and it all started after one of their own saw what a difference a helping hand can make when a child suddenly arrives in your life.
When Bailey Hughes and her husband became foster parents they quickly realized there were many needs foster parents have. Since then they have fostered 24 children, adopted four and with Bailey’s sister Michaela founded 'The Hands and Feet'. When a child is placed either in a foster, relative, or non-relative caregiver, The Hands and Feet lists everything that that family is in need of like clothing, diapers, and formula.

Those items are also listed on an Amazon wish list and delivered directly to the foster family’s home.
Baily tells us, “Professionals, busy Moms, people that don't have time but want to help you can sign up to be a Wishlister. Our family all had COVID and even when I was lying in the hospital bed. I could still get to families even in times of distancing when you want to give back, and you don't know how this is a great way to do that. If you are not financially able to do it share it with other people. Everyone can do something, and maybe that is your something.”
