Andrea Marvin joined the CBS 12 team in June 2016, and is thrilled to call West Palm Beach home.
Her love for good storytelling, and meeting new people in the community makes this the perfect career for Andrea.
Andrea has been fortunate to work and report at stations across the country, and cover stories varying from severe weather to high-profile court cases.
Before coming to West Palm Beach, Andrea was a reporter at WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, New York. During her three years in Western New York, Andrea investigated local government issues, and held politicians accountable on a daily basis.
Previous to making the move to the Northeast, Andrea spent time in the Midwest at WICS-TV in Springfield, Illinois, where she was a reporter/fill-in anchor.
She got her start in journalism on the North Coast behind the redwood curtain at KIEM-TV in Eureka, California, where she was a reporter/weekend anchor.
Andrea was born, raised, and educated in the Mile High City. She graduated from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, and a minor in history.
When not at work, you'll find Andrea curled up with a good book on the beach, or outside in the dirt, practicing her rookie gardening skills. Send story ideas her way at firstname.lastname@example.org.
