What's Lincoln Thinkin' - PGA Tour Champions not ready for Daly show
The PGA Tour Champions is an opportunity for golfers over the age of 50 to still go out and win big tournaments.
But the Tour is entering a new era, that I'm not sure it's ready for - when John Daly is the star of the show.
You can question whether Daly really cares what he looks like on the golf course.
Or debate whether he knows how to take care of his health.
But you can't question how long he can hit a golf ball.
The man who wasted all that talent, now has a chance to realize it once more on the PGA Tour Champions. Which is the old Champions Tour. Which is the old Senior PGA Tour.
Thanks for making it easy for us.
After making his debut at the Allianz Championship in Boca Raton in February, this weekend Daly teed it up at the Insperity Invitational in Texas, decked out in the Red, White and Blue..... because...
And because Daly can still knock it longer than anyone he's playing against, all he needs to do is get moderately warm with his putter and....
How else would you expect John Daly to celebrate his first win anywhere in 13 years, then taking a shower of alcohol on the 18th green?
Is the PGA Tour Champions really ready for this?
Is 'Murica really ready for this?
Daly is back baby.
Knowing his track record, better enjoy it while we can.
Because it won't last.
