What's Lincoln Thinkin' - Top 10 Masters Favorites
Masters week is the best week in any golf fans' year, and this year's tournament could be an all-time great, with so many good players coming in playing so well. The green jacket literally is up for grabs, but this is how I see it playing out - this is the What's Lincoln Thinkin' Top 10 Masters favorites.
Number 10: Phil Mickelson. Lefty ended a 5 year victory drought in Mexico, and owns 3 green jackets. He will be a contender here forever.
Number 9: John Rahm. The third ranked player in the world, but he has never contended in a major. There's a first for everything.
Number 8: Sergio Garcia. The reigning champion is still playing great golf. He could do it again.
Number 7: Jordan Spieth. First three times at Augusta, he went runner-up/champion/runner-up. If he can find his putter, he'll contend again.
Number 6: Tiger Woods. Yeah, that guy. Vegas has him the favorite. But he hasn't won since coming back.... yet.
Number 5: Justin Rose. Rosey hasn't finished out of the Top 25 at Augusta in 10 years. And he is coming off consecutive top 5 finishes this season.
Number 4: Dustin Johnson. The world's number one player, has only seriously contended once in 7 tries at Augusta.
Number 3. Rory McIlroy. If he brings the game to Augusta that he brought to Bay Hill - this could be the year he completes the grand slam.
Number 2. Bubba Watson. He crushed the field at the WGC Match Play. And Bubba Golf rules at Augusta National.
Number 1. Justin Thomas. No one has played better around the world in the past year, than the Honda Classic champion. JT is my pick to win the Masters.
