Jupiter's Bryan Wiyang Teoh poised for PGA Junior Championship
Jupiter (CBS12) —
So many PGA stars are from Palm Beach County, and one young golfer's move to Jupiter from Malaysia seems to have payed off so far.
Bryan Wiyang Teoh is hard at work at EBC Elite Training this week at the PGA National Estates Golf Course, after qualifying for the PGA Junior Championship. The 16 year old golf star helped Jupiter Christian school win districts and regionals for the first time, and qualified for next week's Junior PGA Championship in St. Louis thanks to his AJGA golf ranking.
"I was amazed (when I found out), I was like this is it." says Teoh. "I'm getting ready with my coach and everything, trying to get things sorted out, my mental goals, my technical goals and my physical goals, and the win will take care of itself, if I win it."
Teoh trains with Joey D Golf Performance Center in Jupiter, which is the same facility as PGA stars Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka.
