Miami Dolphins pick up former Jupiter High School kicker Cody Parkey

Former Jupiter high school star Cody Parkey was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins and being released by the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.
The former Philadelphia Eagles kicker, who played his college football at Auburn, missed 3 of 6 field g oals last year in Miami when the Browns lost to the Dolphins, but ended the season making 20 of his 25 field goal attempts. Over the past three seasons he's also made 81 of 82 extra-point attempts.
The Dolphins released Andrew Franks after picking up Parkey. Franks has been the Dolphins' kicker for the past two seasons.
