Miami Dolphins lose 31-7 in Cutler's preseason debut; Ajayi returns from concussion

The Miami Dolphins' 31-7 loss to the Ravens in their second preseason game looked rough on the stat sheet, but there were some healthy signs for a team that's been plagued by injuries this preseason.

Besides quarterback Jay Cutler looking fairly confident in his debut, replacing Ryan Tannehill who suffered a season ending knee injury, running back Jay Ajayi started in the game for the Dolphins, returning from dealing with a concussion.

Cutler's first reception was completed by Ajayi, who muscled it into an 11 year gain. The 34 year olf QB only played for two possessions, and was 3 of 6 passing for 24 yards, including a 16 yard completion to DeVante Parker up the middle. Cutler looked confident in the pocket, but finished with no touchdowns and no interceptions.

The Dolphins will travel to Philadelphia for a Thursday night preseason tilt with the Eagles next week.
