Venus Williams believes she has many chances left for Grand Slams
Venus Williams says she still believes she has many chances left to win another Grand Slam, even though her younger sister Serena broke the record last year for oldest player ever to win a major. But the 36 year old said Friday, her love for tennis and her belief that great play is still ahead of her is what keeps pushing her every season.
Venus was out playing for charity Friday at her home court at BallenIsles in Palm Beach Gardens. Williams played club members and local tennis stars to raise money for the BallenIsles Charities Foundation, which funds a number of Palm Beach charities. Venus said before the event that her and Serena have been preparing hard for 2017.
Their starts in New Zealand next week.
