Tebow has best day as a Met at Roger Dean Stadium

Tebowmania has hit the road this week, with the phenomenon leaving Port St. Lucie, for games in West Palm and Jupiter. And something about Roger Dean Stadium, made him feel right at home.

Starting in right field, the former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback had his best game so far for the Mets on Wednesday.

After a hit in his first at bat, Tebow laced a seeing eye single to center field in his second at-bat, and finished 2 for 3 at the plate.

In the field, he was not too shabby either. Marlins catcher JT Realmuto laced a shot over Tebow's head, but he dove into the warning track to make the grab.

Tebow played six innings, and did not speak to media afterwards.

Marlins won the game 6-2, by jumping on New York starter Matt Harvey.

The Mets will play at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches on Thursday, while the Marlins are off.
