Dolphins new tight ends believe in Adam Gase

Dolphins tight end Julius Thomas addresses the media for the first time as a Dolphin.

The Dolphins new tight ends are practicing for the first time this week at OTAs, but both certainly feel some comfort all ready in Davie.

Anthony Fasano played with the Dolphins from 2008-2012, and Julius Thomas played under Adam Gase with the Broncos. Both all ready have respect for their new head coach.

Both held their first press conferences of the season Tuesday.

"It starts with Coach Gase and what he brings and the culture he brings to our meetings every day," says Fasano. "It kind of permeates through our team. I wasn’t here last year, but I can see from some of the film I watched early last year to now, a lot has changed for the better."

"It’s exciting," adds Thomas. "Not only is he a guy that I think is one of the best football minds – he’s really good at teaching and instructing – but he’s also somebody that I consider a friend and somebody that I trust in this game. To have that marriage is pretty good.”

The first OTA open to the media is Wednesday.
