Voter registration deadline ahead of Palm Beach County's Uniform Municipal Election

Voter registration deadline ahead of Palm Beach County's Uniform Municipal Election. (MGN)

We are about one month away from local voters deciding who will fill several key roles within their cities and counties.

Monday is the last day to register to vote.

Palm Beach County’s Uniform Municipal Election is set for March 13th and while these smaller elections do not get as much attention as the Primary Elections, the outcome of these races impact community members much more on a daily basis.

These leaders will decide local budgets and vote on polarizing issues like medical marijuana dispensaries.

Requirements to register are simple.

Voters must be at least 18 years old by election day, a U.S. citizen, and a Florida resident.

Forms are available online or you can register at county elections offices.

If you mail a form in, it must be postmarked by the February 12th deadline.

Next month’s election will include several races for local commissioner seats spanning Palm Beach County as well as Mayor seats in Lake Worth and Royal Palm Beach.
