The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a hit-and-run driver who smashed into a bicyclist in Pasco County.

The incident is caught on surveillance video. The Pasco Sheriff's Office shared the video on Facebook in an effort to find the driver responsible.

Investigators say the out-of-control driver first ran a stop sign on a busy residential street in Holiday, Florida, just seconds after a school bus drove by.

As the SUV screamed around the corner, the driver lost control of the wheel. The driver tries to over-correct, but the SUV keeps twisting and turning, according to the video.

The SUV twists and turns down the street before slamming into a pickup truck, parked on a lawn. The impact sends the SUV back toward the road and into a person on a bicycle. The bicyclist is sent flying. The driver then hits a mailbox on the other side of the street, sending debris into the air. Some of it hits another bicyclist, authorities said.

The driver then sped away. There were no reports of any serious injuries.

Investigators are looking for a gold Ford Expedition. The Florida license plate is GYCT99. The driver is believed to be between the age of 20 and 30 years old with light brown or blonde hair.
