Suspect in girl's killing captured after two months on the run

A man wanted for the killing of a 16-year-old girl in central Florida is behind bars after two months on the run.

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office says deputies arrested 35-year-old Larry Peavy in a parking lot in Lake County after receiving a tip.

Peavy has been wanted for the killing of 16-year-old Aleaya Jackson in Bushnell last November. He's also accused of sexually assaulting another teen.

Authorities found Peavy's car Fort Pierce shortly after the killing.
