Students set to perform at Health & Wellness experience
BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) —
Palm Beach State College is encouraging students to get active for the month of March.
Lyn Becker, the Wellness Center Coordinator of the Lake Worth campus, and student Lorrayne Kirby joined CBS to inspire us to get moving as part of the Let’s Move: Commit to Change Physical Activity Challenge.
The Let's Move: Commit to Change Physical Activity Challenge is easy. Just complete 30 minutes of sustained physical activity each day and log your minutes.
Any type of sustained physical activity counts. Walk, bike, play a game of hoops, tap dance or perform any other type of physical activity you like.
The Palm Beach State College students have been performing the Let's Move Beyonce dance at some of the college events.
They plan to perform at 11:15 a.m. on the main stage of the Health and Wellness Experience.
WPEC CBS12 and WTVX CW34 will be hosting the Fourth Annual Health & Wellness Experience on Saturday, March 18, at Mizner Park Amphitheater in Downtown Boca Raton from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
