Police: Violent crew targeting women in parking lots; stealing purses, cars
BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. —
Police are warning of violent attacks at parking lots in South Florida. Right now, police in Broward County are searching for a violent crew that they say ambushed women at shopping centers.
Police say women were beaten and sprayed with pepper spray in Plantation, Fort Lauderdale and Dania Beach. The thieves are after purses and electronics.
The crew even followed some women to their homes, where police say they stole their cars.
According to the SunSentinal, the attacks began a week ago and usually take place at night. Police also believe the suspects include two women and maybe one or two men.
They say be on the look out for a dark-colored Nissan sedan.
