Pedestrian hit by Tri-Rail train in West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) —
A pedestrian was hit by a Tri-Rail train Tuesday evening near Okeechobee Boulevard and S. Tamarind Avenue, a spokes West Palm Beach Police Department said.
A Tri-Rail train was headed northbound and a man, who was wearing headphones, was trespassing along the railroad tracks when struck, according to police. He was not crossing the intersection.
He was transported as a trauma alert to a local hospital. At this time his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
