A man from Boca Raton has won $1 million in lottery scratch-off game.

According to Florida Lottery Communications, Mohamed Elhaloui, 47 claimed his prize at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Elhaloui chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump sum payment of $748,000.00.

FLC says Elhaloui bought his winning ticket from Top Market, located at 162 NW 51st St., and the store will receive $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Scratch-Off games have compromised 68 percent of ticket sales, and contributed more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2016-17.
