Locals march on Mar-a-Lago to mark Trump's 100 days in office

Trump's environmental policies were front and center at the demonstration at George Petty Park which mirrored the People Climate Change March in Washington D.C.

Pro lifers and Trump supporters lined the intersection of State Road 7 and Forest Hill Blvd Saturday morning, while at the same time environmental activists converged on George Petty Park.

Demonstrators on both sides came out to express their thoughts on several issues.

Abortion was the focus at the protest outside a Planned Parenthood in Wellington.

Gary Webster said he supports the President's recent actions on a bill that would allow states to withhold money from organizations that provide abortion services.

"He is going to do what he says he's going to do and he's done it until now," Webster said.

Since in office, President Trump has proposed deep budget cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency and other scientific agencies.

Jennifer Hudson said she's discouraged with the Trump administration's actions on the issue.

"I believe that the science is real its proven and now is the time to start making solutions and not actually denying that it's happening," Hudson said.
