FEMA announces disaster funds for Florida counties
PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS 12) —
The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced funds are being made available for numerous counties in Florida affected by Hurricane Irma.
The federal funding would be available for affected individuals in Charlotte, Collier, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Pinellas, and Sarasota counties.
That funding could go to help individuals or businesses recover from the storm’s destruction.
The funding would be available to various levels of government, including tribal.
