Investigators in central Florida are looking for a bold criminal who slammed a clerk in the head with a gun during a robbery.

It happened last month at the Stop N Go on Stirling Road in Dania Beach. The Broward Sheriff's Office is now sharing video of the incident.

The thief is armed with a gun. The video shows him jump in front of a customer with a gun pointed at the clerk's head, demanding cash. Investigators said the clerk isn't moving as fast as the thief wants him to, so the gunman squeezes through the window of the clerk's work area and puts the gun against the clerk's head. The thief empties a box full of money. He then hits the clerk in the head with the gun and orders him to open the cash register. After clearing out the register the man drags the clerk across the floor and orders him to open the door so he can escape.

The man wore jeans, a black ski mask and a black hoodie with red writing on the front. He's about 5'11" tall and 170 lbs.

Call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS if you have any information about the robbery. You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest.
