Two men from Stuart are facing indictments from a federal grand injury for producing child pornography, the state attorney's office said.

Joshua Lane Rogers, 34, and Richard William Lockley, 34, have been detained pending trial because they're considered a "danger to the community," according to the state attorney's office.

Rogers is facing five counts of "production of visual depictions of sexual exploitation of minors" and five counts of distribution of sexual exploitation of minors, the state attorney's office said. Lockley is facing one count of production of visual depictions of the sexual exploitation of minors.

Rogers was arrested on Sep. 27 when St. Lucie County for giving a 16-year-old runaway meth, marijuana and alcohol and recording their sexual activity, according to the state attorney's office. He was found at a local Dunkin Donuts with the victim.

After meeting her online, Rogers offered the victim to come live with him, the state attorney's office said. A forensic analysis of Rogers' phone revealed that he recorded sexually explicit activity with her many times. He also distributed the images over texts and social media.

Detectives also found that Rogers and another man -- who was later identified as Lockley -- produced a sex video with the victim inside Rogers' home.

Lockley was arrested on Nov. 15.

If convicted, Rogers and Lockley face a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, as well as a lifetime of supervised release and mandatory sex offender registration.
