A man is recovering from injuries after being ejected from his car during a crash. The car then rolled over and landed on him, trapping him underneath the vehicle.

A second driver also sustained injuries in the crash Friday morning in Boynton Beach.

Boynton Beach police say the crash happened at Hypoluxo Road and Lawrence Road around 11:40 a.m.

Police say 20-year-old Jerry Charles of Lantana attempted to make a left turn onto Lawrence Rd. in the path of a Jeep.

Charles hit the Jeep that was traveling east on Hypoluxo Rd. The driver of the Jeep, 49-year-old Gregory Graham of Boynton Beach, was ejected from the car, which then rolled and landed on him.

Officers say a group of Good Samaritans helped lift the vehicle off of him. Responding crews transported the man to Delray Medical Center, where he is listed as stable.

Charles was taken to Bethesda Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police cited both drivers. Charles received a citation for failure to yield while making a left turn and Graham for driving with a suspended license.
