City of West Palm Beach Counts Down Final Days of Sanditree with Coloring Book Giveaway
WEST PALM BEACH, Fl. (CBS12) -- To celebrate the finals days of Sandi Land: Holiday in Paradise, the City of West Palm Beach is giving away 200 Sandi-themed coloring books today through Sunday, January 1, 2017 on the Waterfront to children 12 years old and younger. Families can stop by the West Palm Beach Visitor Center to pick up a copy of “The Story of Sandi” as a colorful souvenir detailing Sandi’s journey to the waterfront. One coloring book per child.
“The Story of Sandi” coloring book was written by Laura Reines and illustrated by Steve Brouse. Brouse is a local artist for The Center of Creative Education in West Palm Beach and teaches after-school art programs throughout Palm Beach County.
“Sandi,” the City of West Palm Beach’s famous holiday sand tree will be on display through January 1, 2017. Visitors are encouraged to visit the waterfront and enjoy the nightly musical light shows, events and free family activities.
