Stress-free turkey preparations with Lenore Pinello

Thanksgiving is just days away, which means its time to think about making that perfect Turkey. No need to stress out about making your holiday feast. Lenore Pinello from "In The Kitchen" in Jupiter visited CBS 12 News This Morning with Suzanne & Eric and she has some advice to make preparations simple.

Here's what you need TO DO:
       1. 2 hours before.  Remove turkey from fridge rub generously with 
           softened butter.
       2. Stuff cavity very loosely with herbs.

HOW TO COOK THE TURKEY

       1. Place on a rack in a large roasting pan.
       2. Allow bird to come to room temperature, 70 degrees
       3. Preheat oven to 400 and roast for 20 mins.
       4. Reduce oven temp to 350 for the remainder of cooking time.
       5. No need to baste or open oven unless breast is getting too dark. Cover
           just breast with foil and continue cooking.
       6. Cook turkey approximately 2.75-3 hours.
       7. Check temp of turkey with thermometer for 155 degrees in deepest
           part of breast. 
       8. Remove from oven. Bird will continue to cook and reach 165 degrees.
       9. Let rest for 30 minutes and up to 60 so juices will redistribute.Stress-free turkey preparations with Lenore Pinello
